Introduction

Business consulting is not something I saw myself doing at any point in my life. I began my life as an entrepreneur in Real Estate Investing. I spent a lot of time and money learning about multiple aspects of Real Estate.

A common theme missing from all of the educators and speakers I read and listened to speak was how to properly run a business. At first I did not realize this glaring hole. For a while, I did not understand this important aspect of running a business.

Eventually, cash flow analysis, bills, marketing, proper business tools, information technology and so on built up until things became almost unmanageable.

That is when I stepped back and asked what is wrong with the picture. Why did running my business take more time as each week went by? For every task I accomplished, another three were added to the list.

The answer was simple. My real estate business was running me instead of me running it. Once I realized this, I spent a lot of time reading and studying how to properly run a business.

The first thing I changed, and most business owners need to change, was my mentality. I changed how I looked at my business.
