Wake Up Moments
This book is a collection of stories about the point in life when each coauthor realized there was more to life. My Wake Up Moment came when one of my best friends passed away. My story describes what I learned from the event and how I tried to improve my life. You can read my contribution to the book here
Life is too short to always be planning for the future. Life happens in the here and now. Even now I sometimes struggle to remember this, and from time to time I force myself to take a moment to slow down and enjoy the ride.
The proceeds from book purchases through this website will go to the Derek Revord Endowment. The Endowment will support the Special Olympics of South Carolina with a focus on The Lowountry (the Charleston area which was Derek's home).
